Types Of Patios

Flagstone Patios

Flagstones are the most common material used for patio installations due to the fact they are quick and easy to lay in a grid pattern such as in the picture above.

Square flagstones allow for a uniform pattern and design and are very hard wearing. We can, of course, cut the flagstones to fit around your garden space so they don’t always have to be square – challenge us to see what we can do.

Clay Bricks

Clay bricks are a very common type of material used for patio installations and they are sometimes called Teg pavers or Teg bricks.

These bricks are used to build up patterns and are very versatile and come in a range of colours and sizes.

These bricks will retain their rich warm colour and they can be installed in a large or small space due to their flexibility.

Indian Stone Paving

Indian stone paving is a type of flagstone but has a marbled coloured effect and are often irregular in shape and so we can create a crazy paving style for you, which works well in large space and around borders.

Indian stone paving is very hard wearing and will change colour slightly over time to give a very nice effect. It can be cleaned easily with a jet wash and doesn’t break or chip easily so once installed it will last a very long time.

Concrete Patio

A concrete patio is the cheapest option and is very easy to install – the only downside is that is it not very exciting to look at.
