Front garden transformed from jungle to classic Tegula paved driveway.
This Stoke-on-Trent front garden had been left to run wild. Overgrown shrubs, thick grass and years of neglect had taken over what should have been a welcoming entrance to the property. The customer wanted it cleared completely and transformed into a low-maintenance, smart-looking space.
Ted and the team started with a full dig-out, removing all the existing vegetation, roots and soil to get down to a clean, stable base. Once cleared, the ground was levelled and prepared properly before any paving went down. No shortcuts on the sub-base.
The finished surface is tegula paving in a slate finish. The multi-tonal grey tones sit well against the red brick of the property and the varied block sizes give it a natural, stone-like quality that plain block paving can’t match. The result is a clean, attractive entrance that needs almost no upkeep.
